Ocean covers more than 70% of the earth's surface and is rich in oil gas, mineral and other resources, closely linked with people's life. In recent years, with increasing demand for marine resources, various detection technology related to marine has also drawn great attention and got significant development. As a mainstream of the marine survey technology, Exploration Seismology is widely used in seabed geological structure, marine reservoir, fish density and behavior characteristics of marine military monitoring, etc.As a country with plenty of marine resources, China has nearly 3000000 square kilometers of territorial waters and the 32000-km long coastline and is rich in oil and gas resources. But at present, our country is still in its infancy in the offshore oil and gas exploration, and mainly relies on the purchase of foreign equipment and technology, or authorizes the foreign companies the responsibility for the operation and exploration, which has seriously affected China's economic interests and national security. Therefore, in recent years the country has increased investment on offshore oil and gas exploration, where the project group" high resolution marine engineering seismic acquisition system" comes from. This paper analyzes the principle of marine seismic exploration, devises and realizes the synchronization and transmission scheme, the main contents are as follows:1. On the basis of working characteristics of an underwater towed cable system, designs a synchronous system which is based on the hardware logic and PLL. Uses hardware logic synchronous method to solve the digital packet delay between transmissions and employs a phase locked loop technology to solve the problem of the data acquisition board sampling in the system.2. According to the transmission characteristics of acoustic data in underwater towed cable system, designs a high-speed data transmission in LVDS hardware scheme. Using the pre-emphasis and equalization technology can solve the distance problem of LVDS data transmission effectively.3. Develops an underwater towed cable transmission system protocol, separates the command channel and the data channel in order to achieve the effective transmission of command and data.4. Completes hardware logic design of transmission system, and realizes timely, orderly, reliable transmission of underwater acoustic data with pipeline.
