Abstract/Summary:
With the development of the economy and the increasing of the population the present reclamation project has more activity characterized of the times. This thesis was mainly about the analysis of the elevation optimization in the reclamation engineering. The optimization research should be done on three parts including building the dam, blown filled muck and foundation treatment. The optimization of the elevation in project should reasonablly consider the influence of the three parts mentioned to find the optimal elevation which lower the construction investment .The slope and the width of shoulder were taken as optimal object during the optimization process.The monolithic stability was checked by the BZ software. The optimum section which meet the requirement of the structural stability and the cost least was calculated through the selection and analysis of the technology and economic.The thesis focus on the settlement due to reinforcing roft soils foundation by vacuum preloading method in foundation treatment. The ABAQUS finite element software was employed in the analysis .The good fitting of the computed results and the measured data confirmed the feasibility of the model .The analysis was taken on the influence of spaces between prefabricated vertical drains upon time and expense of consolidation of soil improved by vacuum preloading to select the optimal drainage plate spacing . In the formation process of the land area , the elevation of the blown filled muck became higher with the raising of the elevation of the dam while the filling quantity in late process became lower ,and vice versa.The cost of the sand expense was much more higher than that of the blown filled muck .This case can influence the cost of the generation of the land area .Consider that,the optimization approaches was developed .It means that the cost of the dam ,filling soil and the vacuum preloading changed through the adjustment of the dam's elevation. The next step is to search the optimal case which made the most economical investment considering the change of the expense of three parts mentioned. The optimum conclusions can be reached by the selection in different muds elevation and different schemes for land creation in the reclamation project.The optimum conclusion was that dam with low elevation meet the requirement of the small size and medium size land creation better than that with the high elevation.The dam with high elevation had obvious advantages in the large size land creation project. In shallow water, the scheme with higher elevation should be taken under any condition of various area of land creation.
