The super large energy-efficient screen is a kind of nonlinear resonant screen which combines with the self-synchronization technique. It works in the resonance region of vibration system and takes multiple vibration motors as excitation source, so it can make the sieve vibrate by smaller exciting force. It has the both advantages of resonant screen and self-synchronization machine, which represents a feasible direction of the development of large-scale vibrating screening equipment.This paper makes a preliminary study about the combination of nonlinear resonant screen and self-synchronization technique according to the development characteristics of vibration screen on the base of study about vibration screen and self-synchronization machine. The main contents are as follows:This paper introduces the basic structure and the main operating principle of resonant screen which is used widely in coal enterprises briefly and establishes the dynamics equation of two eccentric rotors and screen motion in two direction. The first order approximate solutions of resonant screen under primary resonance condition is solved by the KBM method of nonlinear system and the stable condition of eccentric excitation system operation is obtained by analysis and discussion.The curve of relations between amplitude and frequency under primary resonance condition is obtained according to the average equation and the effect of synchronization efficiency is studied by analysing the curve. The stability of screen motion is analysed. After studying in the stability of relations curve, the stable region and the unstable region in curve is obtained. The synchronous conditions of nonlinear system is obtained. The conclusion of two excitation system is popularized to the mutiple excitation system.The bifurcation equation of system motion is deduced according to the steady solution of screen motion, using the singularity theory to analyse the bifurcation equation. The transition variety and the bifurcation mode of system is obtained. The effect of rotors system and initial phase difference to synchronization performance is studied by Matlab software. Several styles of motion relation between two rotors is obtained.
