On the one hand, the Armed Forces of Gold had accumulated mass volume of spatial and non-spatial geological data, which mainly came from gold-based multi-metal geological mineral exploration. Geological data scale expanded exponentially with the application of GIS,RS,GPS especially. On the other hand, the Armed Forces of Gold has broadened its responsibility to conduct geological investigations for national commonweal, public service and strategic purpose and etc. The massive multi-source geological data is the key to fulfill these tasks mentioned above. But, low data management skills have made that querying geological data inefficiently at present. Newly developed information technology was not used to provide geological data management service in the Armed Forces of Gold. That eventuates in embarrassment. The spatial geological data stored on disks is abundant; while, we have no geological data to use facing great demand. How to manage and use these vast amounts of data effectively and reduce repeated investment. That has been becoming an urgent need.An integrated multi-source spatial data management solution was proposed based on the actual demand of the Armed Forces of Gold. And centering on the"multi-source spatial data integration management"theme, the main work of this dissertation can be concluded as the following parts:Firstly, by analyzing the characteristics of multi-source spatial data integration and existing management, a multi-source spatial data for integrated management framework for the Armed Forces of Gold was proposed. This framework's score part is"data catalog model". Based on existing networks of information infrastructure, the framework extracts the data catalog information from the distribute storage nodes and build a unified catalog database for users.Secondly, according to the missions and tasks of the Armed Forces of Gold, based on the analysis of cataloging data technology, focusing on the integration of physical storage and data storage, we research data catalog model which based on China's land area of solid mineral mineralization zones. Besides, we also improve the method of literature cataloging, which more conductive to literature and data applications and improve its utilization.Thirdly, based on the mineralization zoning data cataloging model, we research on the retrieval query methods which based on mining zone, including data type, the geographical position and spatial analysis, so as to improve retrieval efficiency and utilization of spatial data for the Armed Forces of Gold.Fourthly, considering the variety of spatial data storage format, after analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of existing spatial data format conversion methods, a multi-source spatial data access platform was proposed and designed based on middleware. This platform improved the performance of the existing format conversion. Finally, according to the research presented above, an integrated multi-source spatial data management experiment system is designed and implemented, which as a platform to verify our research achievements.
