Study On The Basic Geo-spatial Data Management Techniques

The study of the basic geo-spatial data management techniques has become one of the priority areas of the GIS discipline, with the extensive application of the basic geo-spatial data in all walks of life. In the mass basic geo-spatial data management, the current geo-spatial data management methods are defective, and cannot support integrated, seamless and efficient management. The task of this study is to achieve efficient storage, organization and management of the basic geo-spatial data with using the reasonable spatial data model and data storage method, introducing the efficient spatial data engine, and constructing the basic geographic information system. Therefore, this article includes the followings:(1)This paper analyzes the traditional spatial data model,focuses on the ob-ject-oriented data model-Geodatabase model, use the space-time integrat-ed modeling approach and proposes the temporal and spatial integra-tion of object-oriented data model.(2) This paper analyzes the basic geo-spatial data storage methods. Accord-ing to the data characteristics and principles of database design, the multi-source, multi-type and multi-scale basic geo-spatial data storage has been designed.(3)This paper analyzes geo-spatial data engine technology. According to the efficient management of the basic geo-spatial data requirements, this paper uses effective spatial data engine processing technology to improve the efficiency of the spatial data management(4)This paper develops the basic geo-spatial data management system prototype-the basic geographic information system of Shaoxing City with using the proposed theory and methods, and verifies that it is technical feasibility of using the basic geo-spatial data model, data storage methods, and spatial data engine efficient processing technology.The basic geo-spatial data management techniques proposed in this study provides an effective way to manage the basic geo-spatial data of Shaoxing City in a certain extent, and achieved the purpose of rational organization, and efficient storage and management.
