Human activities and sunshine cause the random changes of temperature and wind speed,and then the atmospheric turbulence was formed,which causes stochastic excursion,undulating and spread of the laser beam during the propagation in the atmosphere.It also affects the optical instrument severely.The profile of the refractive index structure constant is important parameter for the study of optical propagation through turbulence.It is usually measured by sounding ballon,tower,plane and radar.However,they were restricted by manpower and material resources.For that reason,evaluating the profile and intensity of the atmospheric turbulence based on meteorological parameter makes it effective.The text is based on the requirement of weaponry engineering.Firstly the internal and foreign techniques on the refractive index structure constant Cn2 modeling was introduced. Secondly the analysis of the atmospheric turbulence in surface/boundary layer was given. And then the model of atmospheric turbulence in area was founded based on advanced modeling and its special geographical characteristics, it matched well with the actual metrical data of Cn2.The article made good use of foreign advanced techniques on modeling of atmospheric turbulence.Furthermore the meteorologic data in area will be more widely used in some similar areas lack metrical data of Cn2.
