For a long time, multiple problems with seismic exploration, and in some areas, particularly prominent. The current method of suppressing multiples is mainly cyclical and based on multiples of their remaining time difference with the first wave, although these methods have a good theoretical basis, but in practical application, the result is always disappointing. There is no a more comprehensive and effective method to remove multiple reflections. Has been plagued by multiple wave seismic data processing personnel. The quality of multiple suppression not only affect the post-processing of seismic data, but also directly affect the interpretation of seismic profiles. Based on this detailed study of geophysical methods to eliminate multiple reflections commonly used method is of great significance.This paper analyzes the domestic and international current wave of repression on many current technical status and analysis of existing problems. Then, a number of waves are discussed in detail the causes, classification, kinematics, wave field characteristics, and introduces a number of wave identification technology. Then from the principle of the method, application conditions, advantages and disadvantages and so systematic exposition of several major multiple suppression methods. Finally, an example of a shallow sea area of 2D data to eliminate multiples of three typical methods of a large number of numerical experiments, and careful analysis of each method applied in the work area and adaptability of the advantages and disadvantages.Through theoretical analysis and a shallow beach area of the actual data processing, the following conclusions: 1. in the area of multiple waves using the conventional approach the conclusion, through the method of comparison and found that two-dimensional FK effect of the multiple wave attenuation method Good; 2. Through comparative analysis, the conventional method to obtain the optimal parameters; 3 of the control based on multiple time-varying coefficients for the middle rate of iterative methods, effectively improved the accuracy of FK filtering, and get a better Treatment effect.
