Optical chaos has a wealth of information resources which have a higher value science, optical chaos control and synchronization provided the necessary conditions for the application of optical chaos. This paper focuses on the optical second harmonic chaotic system. Using unidirectional coupled synchronization method to achieve optical second harmonic system synchronization, the use of optical coupling method to achieve control of second harmonic and periodic state of chaos synchronization. The main text is divided into three parts:PartⅠ:It briefs the sources and the development of chaos and chaos control and chaos synchronization method, and optical second harmonic system, in-depth research on optical second harmonic system, analysis the stability of chaos.PartⅡ:Synchronization in unidirectional coupled method was used to achieve the optical second harmonic system of tuning parameters and tuning parameters are the same in both cases at the same time synchronization, including the single-variable one-way coupling and the coupling of two one-way multivariate way.PartⅢ:the coupling method was achieved by optical second harmonic system of tuning parameters and tuning parameters are the same in both cases while the chaos control, the system is controlled to periodic state and to achieve the periodic state synchronization by the chaotic state.
