The dissertation mainly investigates the control and synchronization of chaos in the Second-harmonic gengration(SHG). At the same time, also use time-delay feedback method to investigate the controlling and synchronizing periodic states chaos in the SHG. The research consist of three parts: The investigate of the chaos in the SHG, controlling chaos and synchronizing periodic states by period parameter modulation method in the SHG, controlling chaos and synchronizing periodic states by time-delay feedback method.In part one, firstly the dynamic equation of the SHG is deeply investigated and the stability of it is stable solution is analyzed. It is found that SHG can be in chaos state in the same way. Investigate the chaos by the Lyapunov index, states of output and stranger attractor, time serial and power spectrum.In part two, we use period parameter modulation method modulate pump light and modulation parameter to successfully control the chaos in the SHG. Then we deeply research the periodic synchronization in the SHG.In part three, we use time-delay feedback method modulate pump light and modulation parameter to successfully control the chaos in the SHG. Then we deeply research the periodic synchronization in the SHG.
