Biomass energy directly or indirectly comes from the photosynthesis of plants. It can be turned into a regular solid, liquid and gas, which is a kind of renewable energy and is the one and only renewable sources of carbon. Research and development of biomass energy has become a national focus of attention, and many countries developed their own biomass energy research and development programs, such as the U.S. energy farm, the sun of Japan plans, energy plans of alcohol in Brazil, India's green energy projects, which are mainly based on research and development of plants. Biomass energy resources is abundant in China and the amount of the biomass resources in theory is about 5.0 billion t of standard coal, which is about 4 times the total energy consumption currently and accounted for the majority of all the biomass energy. China has set targets for renewable energy development, which is committed to adjust the coal-dominated energy structure. All in all, biomass energy with its unique advantages has become an important option in national energy strategy. However, there are many basic works to be done in the current configuration of the forest community biomass, species selection, harvesting methods, processing and utilization and efficient use, etc. This paper is intended to 30 common species in Shandong for the study. Through the measurement of heat value of its one year old branches, three years old branches and leaves, we analyzes the variation of the heat value, select the materials which have larger heat value. Then we choose the same parts which are from the species of the higher and lower heat value and analyze the structural features, find out the different factors related to the structure. Results of the study can provide further quantitative reference for the development and utilization of biomass energy in Shandong, are good to understand the mechanism of realization of calorific value and are possible to provide a theoretical basis for the mechanism of efficient combustion process control and the determination of oriented cultivation of quality energy plants. Through the determination of the heat value and anatomical structure of one year old branches, three years old branches and leaves of the 31 species of plants (respectively the typical tree species,7 species of small trees or shrubs,22 species of annual herbs and 1 species of material vines 1 species),we come to the following conclutions.1, the first 5 species of a high calorific value are mainly low shrubs (4), and the top 10 species of high heat value include 5 low shrub, and 5 large shrub or small tree;2, the same specie between different organs and different developmental stages of the same organ have the great difference between the calorific value, and the most do not meet the past coverage:the leaf> the branch> the stem>the root; 3, the analysis of 3 year old branches of forsythia, and the autumn and spring leaves of Tamarix shows that in the two materials the heat value in summer are higher than that in autumn, especially to Tamarix willow. The ash content shows the opposite trend; 4, the cell cross-section of small diameter, thick cell wall, rich cell inclusions are the most significant features in branches of higher calorific value; the cell cross-section of large diameter, thin cell wall, not rich contents are the salient features in the branches of low calorific value; 5, stained deep by safaris or fast green and leaves and veins contain inclusions, are the most significant features of the leaves with high heat value.In a word, on the biomass energy development and use, the shrubs and shrubs forest breeding in the future energy plant breeding play an important role. Through depth analysis and study for the species anatomical structure, the theory calorific value in the actual combustion process is to be efficient achieve that is likely to play a decisive role.it can provide a new reference for using of biomass energy resources research.
