In the Wudong Slope, it has constructed a new petroleum production area through petroleum exploration of 35 years. The purpose is to enhance the study of foundational geology, master the geological rule of oil/water distribution of NI reservoir in the Wudong Slope, estimate the deep-layer exploration potential of NI reservoir, indicate the advantageous exploration target.Faults in the South of Wuerxun Sag, Hailar Basin may be divided into deep-fault system and shallow-fault system. From the shallow-fault combined pattern and the both combined pattern, fractures are mainly formed in extensional setting. In this paper, we analyze the developing time, space distribution and evolution history of the fault system which will contribute to oil and gas accumulation research in this area. Structural evolution study shows that this area had experienced 4 stages of fracture evolution.NI reservoir is fine divided into four sand sets,14 mbr trough the application of theogram, ES curves characteristic, and the cycle of sedimentation delineated.Based on core, seismic, logging and logging data, application the logging theory and the principles and methods of sedimentology, to identify the sedimentary microfacies study of Southern section in wudong slope in Wuerxun depression of Hailar Basin. The results showed that the sedimentary microfacies types mainly subaqueous distributary channel, inter of subaqueous distributary channel, the mouth bar, sand sheet of Fan-delta front. The analysis on the oil test data reveals the oil/water distribution of NI reservoir in the Wudong Slope, Hailar Basin is complex. In the plane, from subsag to fault slope break to gentle slope, it appears water to oil to water and oil accumulates on the fault slope break. Within in the oil-bearing area, the oil-bearing property shows good-bad-good from north to south. Within the same fault block, oil accumulates gradually to the updip direction. Along the profile, oil distribution in the different layers appears different. Oil distributes gradually to the deeper layer from north to south, generally oil is in the upper layer and water is in the lower and the majority of the lower layers are mixed oil/water layers. Further research indicates that fault lateral sealing ability, sedimentary microfacies, permeable sandbody are the main factors on the oil/water distribution of the NI reservoir in Wudong slope. The lateral sealing abilities of faults determine the oil/water interfaces of traps and sedimentary microfacies and permeable sandbody, which also affect oil/water distribution to a certain extent. The next oil exploration and development objective should be in the favorable sedimentary facies and sandstones within the boundaries limited by the sealed faults.
