Oil And Gas Distribution In Hailaer Basin

Through petroleum exploration of 30 years,a new petroleum production area has been constructed in Hailaer Basin. The purpose is to enhance the study of foundational geology, master the geological rule of natural gas deeply, estimate the deep-layer exploration potential of Hailaer Basin, indicate the advantageous exploration target.During study, five key techniques are applied: (1)comprehensive strata division and contrast technique; (2)structural analysis and original basin recovering technique; (3)unconformable surface and starting water progressive surface identificating technique; (4)3-D seismic pre-stack depth migration and inversion technique; (5)comprehensive experiment analyzing technique.We have get the several innovative achievements:(1)Mature resource rock control the distribution of reservoir;(2)There are three reservoir-caprock combination from the bottom up;(3)The second and the third boundary fault zone of composite half basin are the most favorite composite reservoir abundance zone;(4)resource sub-depression slop is favorite lithologic deposit accumulation area. (5) There are multi-reservoir type in west-Beier sub-depression which can be the breakthrough area of next exploration area;East-Wuerxun slop and mid-Beier sub-depression are next expanded area; Bayanhushu, Yimin, Hulunhu-Chagannuoer and Hongqi depression can be the expected exploration area.
