Oxy-fluoride glasses were developed as new host material applied to long-distance fiber amplifier and three-dimensional display fields recently, it is a high quantum efficiency and low phonon energy fluorescence host materials, and becomes focus on fluorescence inveitigation. In this thesis, Er3+/Eu3+/Yb3+co-doped, Sm3+/Yb3+ co-doped oxy-fluoride glasses have been prepared by high temperature sintering, including anneal and unanneal process of the series sampl.1. The up-conversion photoluminescence spectra, emission spectra and excitation spectra of Er3+/Eu3+/Yb3+co-doped oxy-fluoride glasses were measured. The mechanism of energy transfer among Er3+, Eu3+ and Yb3+ was discussed, and the influence of the doping concentrations, and anneal processes on the spectra intensities was analysed. The results show that up-conversion photoluminescence intensities reduce with increase of Er3+ concentrations. The quenching effect occurring among different ions becomes stonger with increase of Eu3+ concentrations, and reduces up-conversion photoluminescence intensities. The up-conversion photoluminescence intensity first increases and then reduces with increase of Yb3+ concentrations. photoluminescence intensity becomes stronger markedly after the sample was anneal treated. Furthermore emission and excitation spectra of Er3+/Eu3+/Yb3+co-doped oxy-fluoride glasses have been analysed. The results show that luminous performances and mechanism of three-mix samples more complicated, not only action oneself but also energy transfer among different ions.2.The emission spectra and excitation spectra of Sm3+/Yb3+ co-doped oxy-fluoride glasses have been measured. And spontaneous radiation transitions rates, fluorescent branch radio and radiation lifetimes were discussed based on the emission spectra of Sm3+and Judd-Ofelt theory the J-O intensity parameters ?k (k=2, 4, 6). The results show that the co-doped materials occurrs concentration quenching and reduces luminous intensity. Meanwhile the nonreversible energy transfer between Sm3+and Yb3+ was discussed.3.The influence of annealing process on the fluorescence properties of Sm3+/Yb3+ co-doped oxy-fluoride glasses was investigated. The results show that luminous intensity become stronger and peak still keep unchanged. The annealing treatment is conducive to crystallization and phonon energy become low, Besides, The phonon relaxation and non-radiation transition probability reduces, luminous intensity become stronger than sample unannealing.
