The optical and electromagnetic properties of inorganic semiconductor ZnS:Mn2+ nanoparticles Pyrex glasses(Na20-B-,03-Si02) composites and organic nano-structure PlC-I molecular aggregates and mixed molecular aggregates PIC-I/azaPIC-I were systematically investigated in this thesis. The first part is that the ZnS:Mn2~ nanoparticles Pyrex glasses composites were prepared by a melting method. The doped Mn2+ can be classified as two type configurations, occupying substitution sites (Mh2+)Sub and interstitial sites (Mn2+) The nanoparticle radius are mi. smaller than the radius of Bohr exsitons for the sample 1, 2 and 3 or R1, R2, andR3 K a B so the quantum confinement are the carrier confinement . For R1 < ae, a~ , it is a strong the carrier confinement. For a~ KR2 = ae and ae, a~ in the composites were measured. The third type configuration of were identified from EPR spectra. We observed the increases in the g1 factors hyperfine structure constant with decreasing the nanoparticle diameters. In the second part the red-shift and narrowing of J-bands of PlC-I were studied, and the vibration mode at 1368cm-i and length of chain were calculated. The nonlinear refractive index were measured by z-scan.
