Qinling mountains is the bridge of western high mountains and eastern plain hills in our country topography is the boundary of Subtropical climate and warm temperate climates; is the water divide of changjiang and huanghe. It is the sensitive areas in various natural ecological environment. Not only is the hub of China geology but also the bridge of the quaternary glaciers in eastern China and westean.the research about Taibai mountain have the vital significance. It will play a key role in solve the quaternary glacial actions in our country between north and south; west and east. The study of the former glacier, we could find out the cause of the ancient climate change, and predict the future trend of the climate change.Taibaishan is the research object in this paper, use the methods that sampling in the field, sediment analyzing in the lab, and analyzing the sediment characteristics of glacial geomorphology, ascertain the glacial evolution process and so on.Taibai Mountain preserves the late Quaternary glacial remains, which distribute on the summit area above 2900m a.s.l., and the typical glacial morphology exists in sanyehai-sanqingchi region. The glaciation was proceeding at the early stage of the Last Glaciation .According to the relationship between the summer, June, July and August the annual precipitation and the atmospheric temperature at the equilibrium line altitude, the present ELA in Helan Mountain was 4481±100m. And the altitude of cirque floor, the terminal to summit altitudinal, the terminal to average elevation of the catchment area and the accumulation area ratio were used for calculation of the former ELAs . These methods provided the equilibrium line altitude for an average altitude of 3404.6m during the early stage of the Last Glaciation. Consider the ancient tectonic uplift, the ELAs is 3229.6m.This paper tries to analyze the influence of structural factors on the environment, especially since the gonghe movement, the qinghai-tibet plateau inside and rim common lifting more than 100 meters. Individual area attain 1000 meters.Caused the area around the plateau supass the snow line altitude in the late Pleistocene,which development ice effect in Last Glaciation.That explains that the development of Last Glaciation in researched area is effected not only by Climate cold but also by tectonic movement. Finally, the papper restored the late pleistocene and the holocene climate environment via contrast deep-sea oxygen isotopes, loess and the earth's poles.
