China's State-owned Commercial Bank Corporate Governance Research

In the contemporary business system ,the more diversified investors and separation of ownership and administration have led to the problem of corporate governance .The corporate governance of banks also becomes a hot topic. In china's banking system, efectiveness and efficiency of state-owned commercial banks not only afects state-owned commercial banks' competition , but also afects efectiveness of resources allocation and the quality of economic growth. Among numerous factors afecting state-owned commercial banks, lacking of valid corporate governance has become one of the keys. As a matter of fact, with china's entrance to world trade organization and open door policy in financial market, the competition in china between the state-owned commercial banks and foreign banks not only focuses on operation activity ,but more importantly concentrate on corporate governance. Therefore, the establishment of valid corporate governance of state-owned commercial banks becomes the fundamental reform of state-owned commercial banks.This article introduces the theory of corporate governance,specialization,importance and urgency of state-owned commercial banks'corporate governance reform.Through the valid analysis of the history review and the present situation of state-owned commercial banks'corporate governance,the thesis analyses and discusses the existent problems for the state-owned commercial banks'corporate governance;Based on research and comparison with two mode of international commercial banks'corporate governance,the thesis provides some suggestions to improve state-owned commercial banks'corporate governance in china.
