Since 1990's, the foreign trade and investment of Yangtze River Delta has been rapidly increased, the international trade in services has been to a considerable scale. The economic internationalization of Yangtze River Delta has developed quickly. The economic internationalization accords with the reform and opening's strategy of China as well as the trend of production internationalization. Firstly, the paper gives the meaning of the economic internationalization, introduces several measurements of the economic internationalization in the world and builds an index system. Secondly, the paper reviews the process of the economic internationalization of Yangtze River Delta in the way of the foreign trade and investment. It analyzes the actual state of the region's economic internationalization according to the above index system. Therefore, the paper concludes that the economic internationalization of Yangtze River Delta is low. Then, the paper discusses the necessary conditions and the advantages of Yangtze River Delta's economic internationalization from the aspects of world, country, government and company separately. Finally, the paper puts forward some suggestion on promoting the economic internationalization of Yangtze River Delta.
