The equipment management in the enterprise is the critical subject and important field for all of enterprises. It can say the equipment management effects not only the production and sales but also the future of enterprise.The article studied the major phase of the whole life of the equipment. It explained the equipment management on layout, purchasing, installation and capital management, especially studied the equipment maintenance and preventive maintenance. The article explained the improvement on the preventive maintenance. It analyzed the status of current equipment management and developed the GMPS software for preventive maintenance by ourselves. It is explained the design, security, debugging and running, data backup and computerized system validation.The enterprise continuously improved the equipment management with developing the software to aid person on equipment management. The enterprise also got a high raise in the equipment management.
