As the country's 11th Five-Year Plan with votes close to unanimity, increasing domestic demand has been the basic foothold and long-term strategy, which would steadily promote the national economic development. The power to accelerate the economic growth is not investment but consumption. However, the increase of investment and consumption are imbalance in China. The inadequacy of consumption becomes a Gordian knot during the economic development and it is the most important problem which needs to be solved. Nowadays, firstly, high national saving rate and huge market potential supply enough material condition for the domestic demand increase; then, the lag of industry structure, distribution structure and consumption policy do harm to the economy growth, which requires the demand increase; therefore it is a possible and necessary method for us to push the national economy forward depending on the demand increase in the domestic market.It is pointed out in the central economic conference that the keypoint of increasing domestic demand is increasing the resident consumption. In terms of the theory, consumption structure is the embodiment of consumption demand; consequently it is necessary that the research should start with the consumption structure investigation. Only finding out the rule of the consumption structure change and mastering the hotspot of the consumption demand, the government could supply a good policy environment and lead the consumers to increase the consumption effectively; the consumption structure and industry structure could be unisonous and the national economy could develop steadily and healthily at last.In this essay, by choosing the urban residents in Shandong province as an example, we firstly apply the static and dynamic analytical method by ELES model...
