Automobile insurance provides most of profits and premium income for non-life insurance industry in China. Researching the consumer behavior of automobile insurance can help insurance companies strengthen their risk management and increase profits. Nowadays most of researches are on insurance demands, while the study of individual consumer and positive analysis are less.Using the multiple liner regression model and the probit model, this paper identifies the factors which influence consumer behavior, and talks about how to improve automobile insurance management. The full text consists of five chapters and the principal elements are as follows:Chapter I describes the present researches on the consumer behavior of insurance, and identifies the core of the paper.Chapter II introduces the developments of automobile insurance in China, and describes the compulsory third party liability insurance and the products of the studied company.Chapter III introduces the multiple liner regression model and the probit model.Chapter IV explains the results of the models, and gives the conclusions of the research.Chapter V submits proposals to strengthen automobile insurance management for insurance companies, and suggestions to strengthen market supervision for the government.At last, the postscript points out the distinguishing feature and the disadvantages of this paper.
