Shandong Province And Jiangsu Province, The Utilization Of Foreign Direct Investment In A Comparative Study

Reform and open policy over the past 20 years, our country has used the FDI to obtain the huge achievement, which promotion our country economy lasting, fast and healthy. Shandong and Jiangsu Province are both the east open coastal city of our country, the economy level of development is similar, it is the focus area that the foreign businessman invests in too. However, Shandong is in utilizing FDI, no matter quantity or quality, compared with Jiangsu Province have very great disparity, do not accord with the position of the large economic province. So, find out disparity and analyze the reason for the disparity, and then take the effective measure to heighten the level which Shandong utilizes FDI, today, the opening of global economy is improving constantly , have reality and urgency even more.This paper consists of four parts. The first is the literature review. The second part is Shandong and Jiangsu Province compares using the FDI condition. First introduced the state of two provinces uses FDI, then utilize five indexes such as scale of the FDI, industry , trade structure , quality , investment source and investment way to compare specifically on two provinces separately. The third part has analyzed Shandong with Jiangsu Province utilize FDI respect produce reason of disparity, including cost variance , market difference, gathering effect difference , policy and government difference , geographical position and cultural difference .The fourth part further enhanced on Shandong Province using the FDI level put forward the reasonable policy proposal.
