Tourism is an information-intensive industry and information-dependent industry, which has an adaptability with e-commerce. Tourism is one of the most early and most comprehensive of developing e-commerce, network travel has already become the first trade of e-commerce in the world. Travel agency is the tache of linking tourism market demand and market supply, which has an important effect on the production and distribution of tourism product, and accelerate the development of tourist industry. Travel agency is considered as one of the three pillars of tourism industry with hotel and travel transportation, and has an unreplaceable position and function. By using information and network technology, Travel agency develop e-commerce to carry on e-marketing, has attract prevalent attention of the industry. Along with the fast development of tourism e-commerce, the study on e-commerce of travel agency also received a certain extent development. Thereinto, building the development mode, realizing the path of e-commerce of travel agency, avoiding the mistake will be the chief problem.This paper is studied with several subject theories such as Microeconomics marketing and theory of information industry. With analysis of the environment factors, economics factors , platform and systems, discussed the stage and mode for e-commerce of travel agency. It is key to have discussed some parts of following contents:Part1. After having analyzed the domestic and international present situation about this research. It has discussed the major theoretical of this research, confirm the object of this paper.Part2. Through studying the development of travel agencies in Nanjing, it is discussed the macro-environment, environment of the trade and interior environment of enterprise, studied the environment factors which influence the stage and mode for e-commerce of travel agency.Part3. Through studying the development of travel agencies in Nanjing, analyzed the demand and supply, cost and profit, platform and systems, studied the economics factors and construction factors which influence the stage and mode for e-commerce of travel agency.Part4. Through above analysis and discussion, with case analysis, abstracted six modes for e-commerce of travel agency. And pointed out that enterprise in different stage is adaptive to different mode.Part5. Based on analysis of the stage and mode, the countermeasure for e-commerce of travel agency are discussed, and analyzed the development of travel agencies in Nanjing, offered some suggestions for the development of travel agencies in Nanjing.
