Foreign Direct Investment In China's Development In The New Era Significance And Strategic Studies

The research object of this dissertation is the meanings and strategy of developing China's foreign direct investment(FDI) in new era and related problems. From the definition, FDI usually refers that, to gain domination, the investors invest production elements to establish enterprise or buy stockholder's rights abroad.For a long time, FDI has been a key point of theory, researches focus on"Why","Can","Where"and"How"to invest FDI, which result in forming a perfect theory system. In the massive studies, some overseas scholars proposed theories about FDI of developing countries, which produce great significance to China's FDI development. In addition, the Chinese scholars also proposed some viewpoints, and probed the intentions, meanings and strategies of developing FDI when related with the reality of China. Those theories formed the important foundation for further studies about China's FDI. However, the domestic and foreign theories have some limitations to interpret the meanings and strategy of China's FDI in new era, since which based on the certain historical conditions. Considering the limitations, the research of this dissertation focuses on the meanings and strategy of developing China's FDI in new era and adopts those principles, including applying theory to reality, from simple to concrete, to propose some valuable suggestions for developing China's FDI.
