Study Of The Financing Problems Of Small And Medium-sized Steel Enterprises In China

The steel trading business is the main force of steel-product-trading and steel-product-distribution for Chinese steel industry. In this business, the percentage of Small and Medium-sized Steel Product Trading Enterprises (SAMSPTEs) is over 90%. Most SAMSPTEs are not state-owned enterprise. The SAMSPTE are the main force for steel-prduct-trading, they undertake dual functions of middle distribution and facing final users. The features of SAMSPTE are as follows : the assets-liabilities ratio is in high-level ;the main assets is floating assets ; the main liabilities is floating liabilities ; the net profit margin and the gross profit margin are both in very low-level ; the assets turnover ratio is in high-level ; the monetary demand is so large that the owned capital can not meet it; the financing practice is an usual job .In China, the service chain for financing is not enough , and the system of financing is not fit , which is the political-system-level question the Chinese SAMSPTEs have to face to . The SAMSPTEs can not easily change the outside surroundings for financing, they must adapt themselves to them and take better advantages of the existing financing methods .After analyzing the business features and financing features of Chinese SAMSPTEs, the research expounds the theories about enterprise financing. The inspection to the financing methods of 23 typical Chinese SAMSPTEs is done and many documents are collected for this research. This thesis sums up the suitable methods for financing of Chinese SAMSPTEs. By some real cases from inspection, this thesis puts forward the guidable principle for Chinese SAMSPTEs, makes some probing to the risk of financing methods of Chinese SAMSPTEs, and recommends the suitable financing methods according to the life , the size and the surroundings of the SAMSPTEs.This thesis practically researches the financing of Chinese SAMSPTEs , and, can provides reference for choosing suitable methods and practicing of the financing of Chinese SAMSPTEs to some degree.
