Erp Software Pricing

With the extensive application of ERP in China, the market competition becoming more and more intense, then price war is chosen firstly by medium and small-sized ERP software enterprises. Consequently, the market pricing is moving into disorder. To obtain the market, the ERP software enterprises beat the price, and"shrink"their product or technical support on the other hand, which greatly influences the effect of the ERP application. Hence, to price rationally becomes especially important.This thesis supposes that customer value-based difference pricing will be the present ERP pricing trend. Analyzing the tangible benefits and intangible benefits the enterprises get from using ERP, this thesis chooses the electronic industry and calculates the benefits from using ERP system based some data, which provides good theoretic reference when the enterprises face multiple ERP price bidding. Next, investigating four stylized ERP software in China and making a questionnaire of four experts, this thesis obtains the weights of the indicators in the fuzzy evaluation indicator system by the hierarchy analysis, and get the fuzzy comprehensive scores based on the fuzzy theory. According to the scores and the market prices of three ERP software systems above, this thesis calculates the base price of ERP A using neural network technique. The empirical results show that, the fuzzy theory and neural network technique based ERP pricing has certain realistic feasibility.
