Acted as the important content and the method, electronic commerce which is based on the network economy initiate the serious challenge to the traditional commercial operation pattern in many area such as the organization overhead construction, the commodity management, the market information, the product marketing.At present more and more enterprises want to obtain the competitive advantage and the leading status by using the electronic commerce.The SMEs in our country is so weak in their scale, fund and management level to build their own E-commerce system. But through the third party e-marketplace, they may win a broader market and finer channel, creates closer supplies chain marketing method, reduces the transaction cost, and provides quicker customer service. The present e-marketplace only provides the the information search with the service of the information exchange level and lacks the entire transaction process support.This dissertation is to establishes a third party e-marketplace for the SMEs.At first, we will investigate the need of the users by a questionnaire.From result of the questionnaire, we can find out the most important function of an e-marketplace.Then, we design the whole e-marketplace from the overall construction to the each five function.Next, we will model the e-marketplace by using the UML.At last, we will take the Maimai website for example.We analyze the advantage and the disadvantage of the website and give some advice.
