In the past years, logistics management has become more and more important in the society, and is called the third profit source after the the material and personnel management, enterprisers pay more attention to how to reduce logistics cost. Nowadays people take the ratio of logistics cost to GDP as the index of comparing logistics development of different countries, and ignore the influence of economic condition, industry structure and infrastructure。 On the basis of reading and generalizing of the related literatures, this paper analyzes the relationship of logistics cost , infrastructure and industry structure quantitatively, and checks if these long-term factors will affect the development of logistics。In this study, we adopt the test of Granger causality and Multiple regression to figure out the exact relationship of industry structure, infrastructure and logistics costo This article mainly apply to the data of US and China., Firstly we test the stability and cointegration of data, then perform the test of Granger casuality, lastly according to the aboved results, acquire of the regression equation of industry structure , infrastructure and logistics cost。The conclusions of this study are as follows: (1) At 5% significance level, the ratio of industry output to GDP is Granger Casuality of the ratio of logistics cost to GDP, it means that industry structure will influence logistics development。 (2) At 10% significance level, total length of transportation routes is Granger Casuality of the ratio of logistics cost to GDP。 According to the results we can say that improvement of infrastruture will influence logistics development。 (3) Freight ton-kilometers per GDP is Granger Casuality of the ratio of logistics cost to GDP, and Service output are Granger Casuality of the ratio of logistics cost to GDP vice versao We can't make definite conclusion from the statistic results, it may be another factors influence the results。...
