In course of the development of new products, low success rate is always what the enterprises concern about. As the Internet develops so rapidly and it's technologies of interaction design,numerous information storage and virtual information are getting more and more mature , then ,how to take advantage of Internet to meet the customers' demands and dominate the market rapidly becomes the emphasis of the process .By the analysis of online and offline process of new products' development ,the essay introduces a new one to improve success rate with more alternation,overlap and flexibility, which mixes the traditional one with primary & advanced interaction of Internet to realize the online interaction between enterprises and customers, and suppliers, even between the different departments ,etc on the value chain .On the basis of mode integration & careful study on 291 Chinese & foreign enterprises of big ,small & medium sizes, the essay verifies that internet has been used in the development of new products to a certain extent. It also points out the great relationship between the size of enterprise, its business extension, product attributes, competitiveness & development of the new product on the internet. It indicates the great difference between Chinese & US enterprises on the development of new products & the interactive application of internet. The disadvantage of small & medium-sized enterprises, the difference of Chinese & US enterprises on on-line exchange , the positive correlation between the enterprise's competitiveness & interactive application of internet are warning that Chinese enterprises should progressively highly integrate the interactive application of internet & the off-line resources, try to improve the competitiveness of both real & virtual world by developing new products of real value for consumers.In addition, the essay puts forward the mode of "searching— exchanging—information—developing" by analyzing the resources of the small & medium-sized enterprises. In the value chain management,we can promote the development of new products by combining the dynamic features of electronoic exchange with VPD & CPC.
