Research, Open Source-based Sme Informatization Construction

Since small and medium-sized enterprises play a key role in social economic development, governments and industrial world demonstrate more and more awareness of them. Facing fierce marking competition, Enterprise informatization undoubtedly provides a new way for the development of the small and medium-sized enterprises. Through the informatization construction, importing advanced management theories and information technology, externally extending the informational methods, internally improving working efficient, on a certain degree, small and medium-sized enterprises could equally compete with large-scale enterprises. In the field enterprise informatization, small and medium-sized enterprises face much difficulty, especially capital and human resources, which seems to be an impassable gap. Therefore, it's necessary to devise a new construction model to overcome all kind of inconvenience in the field of enterprise informatization. To solve these problems, this paper does some initial researches on effective model of enterprise informatization used in foreign countries-Open source information system. These researches include:1 . Explaining the necessity and urgency of enterprise informatization in small and medium-sized enterprise and pointing out the difficult that small and medium-sized enterprises will encounter in enterprise informatization.2. Considering the difficult small and medium-sized enterprises would encounter in the field of capital and human resources, andexplaining open source information system model's feasibility and practicability in solving these problems, as well as analysis in detail the internal motivation and external force to the invention of the new open source information system model and it's business model. It points out that its' appearance comes along with the popularization of Internet technology and the development of open source movement, having its inevitability and reasonability.3. When small and medium-sized enterprises use open source information system and practice enterprise informatization, it points out the problem which should be pay attention to, including risk measurement, the difference between open source and traditional information system, system selection ,application process and other factors.4. The paper takes a successful case of Guangzhou LanMa PCB Ltd implementing Compiere ERP&CRM for example, which analyze how to establish BI through open source information system.
