Enterprises clusters began to develop and thrive in early 1980s, which gradually demonstrate competitive advantages. Nowadays, cluster mode has become an important method for medium and small enterprises to participate in international competition. And the issue of enterprises clusters' competitiveness attracts increasing attention both from academe and government.Since the reform and opening of policy, an amount of enterprises clusters have emerged in some provinces such as Zhejiang, Guangdong and Jiangsu. However, due to short-time development, our country's clusters haven't yet developed stable competitive advantages, thus have no strong international competitiveness. Therefore, It's quite necessary to gain deeper understanding of the clusters' competitive advantages, and then make some suggestions to deal with the problem, in order to better promote these advantages and improve the international competitiveness of our country's medium and small enterprise clusters. The main body of this paper consists of three parts. Firstly, make an overall introduction of the definition, forming mode of the medium and small enterprises cluster, and indicate that the improvement of cluster's competitiveness relies on the achievement of cluster's advantages. Secondly, analyze the forming mechanism of medium and small enterprises cluster's four competitive advantages, which serves as the theoretical background. Thirdly, briefly introduce the present situation and problems of our country's medium and small enterprises clusters, and make some suggestions and countermeasures from four aspects of the clusters' competitive advantages, thus to improve the international competitiveness of these clusters effectively. Finally, draw a conclusion of the thesis.
