Xinqiao Mining Co., Ltd. To Develop Strategic Research

The market is becoming more and more complicated along with the change of inner and outer environments. It is crucial to sustainable development for an enterprise how to master businese opportunity how to take use of its advantages, and how to clarify its correct position in the varied market.XingQiao Mining Corporation Ltd. (XQMCL) is a large open-underground joint enterprise with dominant production of sulphur.Inner and outer environments faced with XQMCL are studied in detail in this paper, using system engineering theory and contemporary enterprise theory. At the same time, opportunity, risk, advantage and disadvantage are also clarified and strategic trends of development are suggested by SWOT method. Several strategic measures are evaluated and possible strategic design is complished by STEM method based on analysis results mentioned above. The main conclusions are given in this paper as follows:1. Chinese economy is in a strategy opportunity although macroscopic adjustment and control is conducted now;2. Supply of sulphur outweights its demand thanks to enough reserves in worldwide level, but sulphur reserves are limited in China;3. Import sulphur and smoke-making-acid are two important competion parters of gyrite ore-making-acid;4. Gyrite ore-making-acid enterprises must increase their concentration degree in order to follow with this strategic trend;5. XQMCL should contract forwarding system strategy of mixing integration and adjust strategic structure of production. Comprehensive utilization of sulphur resources, such as production of acid and othe chemical products should be a direction of sustainable development in XQMCL.Practical results given by specifications and faits can supply not only a strong support for decision-making of future development in XQMCL but also a good example for other relaterd pyrite mines...
