Db Contracting Model Construction Projects Success Factors

This study aimed to identify a set of project success factors for design and build (D&B) projects and examine the relative importance of these factors on project outcome.Five project success factors (project team commitment, contractor's competencies, risk and liability assessment, client's competencies and end-user's need) were extracted form factor analysis of data provide by 33 participants, contractor's of D&B projects through a questionnaire survey. Contractor's competencies, risk and liability assessment and end-user's need were found to be important to bring successful project outcome form the multiple regression findings. Project team members should also recognize that time and cost performance as well as quality of design and workmanship represent by the key elements of overall success of D&B projects.
