A Probe Into The Development Of Direct Banks In China From The Perspective Of Sino - American Comparison

With the rapid development of Internet banking industry, all kinds of innovative products emerge in an endless stream, as one of the most representative form of Internet bank, direct bank has gain a lot of attention. Direct bank originated in the 1990 s, when the enormous development of Internet technology enable data and customer extends out of a new form of service. Nowadays, direct bank has become a mature business mode in Europe and the United States. Since 2013, direct bank began to emerge in China. This paper tries to study the feature and trends of China’s direct bank through comparative study on direct bank in US and China, and makes forecast for the future development of direct bank in China.To accurately explain the core issue of this research, this paper starts from the core concept of Internet finance. The first chapter defines the connotation of Internet finance and Internet banking. Then, the article discusses the mainstream direct bank in Europe and America by introducing representative cases. By illustrating the characteristics and advantages of direct banking development, the second chapter explained why direct bank can emerge and gain competitive edge in the latest twenty uears. Then, this paper discusses the typical cases of China’s direct bank in the process of development, sort out the common mode and characteristics of China’s direct bank. After that, this paper carry out the comparative study on the direct bank of China and US, points out the restricting factors and major problems of direct banking development in China. In the end, some suggestions are put forward for the future development of direct bank in China.
