P Company 65-inch LCD Display UHD New Product Development Feasibility Study

New information display technology is one of the supporting industries of the information industry. TFT-LCD (Thin Film Transistor-Liquid Crystal Display) as the representative of the display products have occupied the leading position in the field of display, widely used in TV, mobile phones, notebook computers, monitors and handheld terminal equipment etc. With the rapid growth of nearly years of large size LCD market demand, P company is keeping up with the trend of market development, focuses on the large size of product development, esign technology and manufacturing technology, and constantly introduce new products to meet market demand, and plans to develop a 65 inch UHD (Ultra High Definition) products. The 65 inch UHD LCD screen requires very high technological content and process level, and the new product development project investment cost is relatively large, therefore, in-depth research and demonstration of the project before the formal introduction of investment project feasibility to provide a reliable basis for decision of the investor is particularly important.The related knowledge and theory of project management is applicated by this paper, and the main content includes the market demand analysis, technology evaluation, financial analysis, risk identification and response,etc. This paper introduces general situation of P company firstly, then analyzes the product itself from the design technology and technical aspect. In the feasibility study of new product development project financial analysis, this paper mainly studied the flowing five aspects:the project investment estimation, cost, profit and loss calculation, profit ability analysis and balance analysis of profit and loss. Finally, in terms of risk and response, this paper briefly expounds the risk and the corresponding risk prevention measures should be taken for the project.
