Research On Evaluation Of Intellectual Capital In Supply Chain Enterprises

With the development of economy, intelligence and knowledge play increasingly significant roles in economic growth and wealth creation, which make more and more enterprises and organizations have strong interest in theory and practice of intellectual capital.Because of the lack of comprehensive theory system of intellectual capital at this stage, and the concept of intellectual capital is quite fuzzy, more importantly, the measurement of intellectual capital evaluation, management, application is blank. Therefore, it is necessary and important to take an research on intellectual capital. China has become the world’s second-largest economy entity, however, the industrial development of China is mainly rely on labor-intensive and resource-consumption-oriented enterprises, which leads to overcapacity, low-technology,poor level of independent innovation ability and unbalanced industrial development. Instead, China has concentrated a large number of labor-intensive enterprises for foreign OEM in the end of the world’s industry and the whole industry value chain, which does not enhance the country’s scientific and technological level, but will consume a lot of resources and have irreversible negative impacts on environment and society. Therefore, China must change the way of promoting economic growth and promote the optimization of industrial structure. In order to get rid of the situation that being at the end of the global value chain, nurturing domestic industry value chain should be considered at the first place.Cultivating the application and management of intellectual capital enables the integration of intellectual capital and other resources of the entire industry more effectively, and plays a significant role in promoting the core competitiveness of the link between enterprises and industrial chains. Therefore, it is very urgent for enterprises in China to improve the applications and management of intellectual capital. To research the core enterprise’s intellectual capital measurement in supply chain is a important complement for researching the theory of intellectual capital and promoting industrial adjustment and upgrading.This dissertation begins at the research development of national intellectual capital, measurement and assessment of intellectual capital and the intellectual capital characteristics of enterprises in supply chain. Firstly, the dissertation summarises general characteristics of intellectual capital management and assessment, combined with supply chain characteristics, factors that will influence enterprise intellectual capital, existing researches on intellectual capital measurement model, and then designs the core intellectual capital measurement and evaluation system of supply chain. To be specific, the dissertation will sum up the general intellectual capital characteristics and its related influencing factors of measurement from the development and measurement of intellectual capital evaluation separately. Secondly, the dissertation will conclude the influencing factors of intellectual capital based on the characteristics of enterprises in supply chain, intellectual capital management and knowledge flow. Thirdly, the dissertation will apply some related theories, which combines with existing researches on intellectual capital measurement model, and then will design core intellectual capital measurement and evaluation system of supply chain. Lastly, the dissertation will further analyse the obvious correlation between the supply chain of intellectual capital evaluation system and supply chain profitability, and verify the design of the indicator system is feasible and effective, which will prove the feasibility, reasonable and scientific of the intellectual capital evaluation system establish intellectual capital measurement evaluation system is not only for the innovation and development of the theory, but also practice based on actual environment to make enterprises, especially enterprises in supply chain, to raise their awareness on intellectual capital more deeply and concretely, and pay more attention to intellectual capital management and input.According to all discussions in previous sections, the dissertation aims to help enterprises to make the most of intellectual capital, conduct plans on intellectual capital management in supply chain, especially conduct focus research on how to transform intellectual capital into organization capital, customer capital and creat economic profit and actual value, hereby improving linkages and cooperations of upstreams and downstreams in supply chain, improving the overall economic performance of the whole supply chain and increasing the value of the whole industrial chain.
