A Study On The Relationship Between Regional Quality Competitiveness And Economic Development Level In Yunnan Province

Since the reform and opening up, China has made great achievements in economic and quantitative growth is under the surpassing strategy of traditional mode.However, decreasing returns to scale, structural deviation, conflict of interest, and increasing cost of environment are appearing behind the great growth,thus the imblance between social economic system and ecosystem is very sharp among different regions. Especially many specialists and scholars attach much attention to the economic loss in the poor quality of products and projects, as well as the environmental pollution and waste of resources. As a result,quality has played an important role in urban development in the previous researches.And quality competitiveness as a core element of quality, can effectively reflect the quality level of a region. A number of studies have demonstratedthe quality of competitiveness plays an important role in promoting on economic growth of regionbased on theoretical view.The paper is mainly to study the correlation betwween regional quality competitiveness and economic development in Yunnan Province based on previous studies, which investigates the quality competitiveness facilitation for economic development from the angle of quantification. Firstly, it analyses the major influence factors of regional quality competitiveness to set up the index system, and get the quality competitiveness value with fuzzy set methods. Secondly, the appraisal model of principal component analysis is applied in evaluating regional economic development level. Lastly, the adoption of correlation analysis, panel analysis and cross-section regression analysis method is used for the deep analysis for quality competitiveness and economic development, and obtains the demonstration that quality competitiveness is in an important position for economic development. According to the research result and Yunnan Province characteristics, it uts forward measures for promotion of regional quality competitiveness,such as strengthening macro quality management, implementing famous brand strategy.Innovation of this paper:1) This paper presents a model for evaluatinig quality competitiveness of regiona based on fuzzy sets, and analysis quality competitiveness in different regions of Yunnan; 2) A model of evaluating regional economic development level is proposed based on principal component analysis method, then we caculate the value of levelin all regions of Yunnan Province; 3) This paper presents the high correlation between quality competitiveness and economic development level from a quantitative point, and results demonstate promote the region demonstrate the quality competitiveness of regional economic development quality of competitiveness plays an important role in promoting on economic growth of region.Insufficient of this paper:1) Considering the time dimension only involves 3 years, this research need to gather more data to verify results; 2) In this paper, the research results need to be validated by other provinces or countries, it will be more convincing.
