A Study On Vietnam 's Investment Environment For Attracting Foreign Capital

Vietnam since the reform and opening up to now has always focused on attracting foreign investment, in case of domestic capital shortage, foreign investment can solve the problems of employment, backward technology and low management level. With more and more countries for the purpose of economic development, have relaxed the restrictions on foreign investment, increase the intensity of investment, can attract more and more foreign investment environment of the host country. Vietnam’s reform and opening up time is short, long-term commitment to build a good investment environment, but because of its own development restrictions also have a lot of problems affecting foreign investment. In this thesis, the process of attracting foreign investment in Vietnam and the impact of factors, while drawing on the experience of China to attract foreign investment, to better attract and use of foreign investment in Vietnam to provide the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.Related theory on attracting foreign investment and investment environment in this paper, the first mainly introduces, The investment theory of comparative advantage, The two-gap theory, The four-gap theory, The eclectic theory of international production and Threshold analysis, for the whole lay theoretical basis, provides the theoretical basis for the following analysis. Secondly describes the development stage and scale of foreign investment in Vietnam by detailed data, which is divided into five stages:initial stage, rapid development stage, decline stage, stable development stage and adjustment stage. Besides, through the regional distribution, industrial distribution, the main sources of these indicators to comprehensively consider the status quo of foreign investment in Vietnam, and finally through the comparative analysis of the international investment status of Vietnam. The thesis once again from the aspects of natural resources, infrastructure, political environment, economic environment and social environment, a comprehensive display of Vietnam in attracting foreign direct investment environment factors can be seen in Vietnam to attract foreign investment advantages and disadvantages. The thesis goes on reviewing the situation of foreign investment in China and summarizes the successful experience of China to improve the investment environment. Next is the empirical analysis of this paper, the main use of SWOT model to analyze the investment environment of foreign investment in Vietnam, to provide the basis for the following measures. Finally according to the above analysis, from the improvement of the market economy, encourage and preferential policies, and the development of human resources and perfect infrastructure this several aspects promulgated, draw lessons from China to improve investment environment of experience, put forward suggestions to improve the investment environment in Vietnam.
