A Study On The Present Situation And Effect Of Russian Policies Attracting Foreign Direct Investment

With the development of globalization,foreign direct investment has become an important part of the economic development of a country or region.Attracting foreign direct investment can greatly increase the national fiscal revenue,promote the expansion of employment and promote the technological progress of the national industry,so as to accelerate the national economic growth.After the collapse of the Soviet Union and the end of the Cold War,Russia inherited and signed 83 bilateral investment agreements.After its independence,Russia also gradually signed a number of new investment agreements.Russia began to sign bilateral investment agreements with a large number of developed countries in Europe and the United States,in order to create a good investment environment and attract foreign investment.How a country or region actively attracts foreign direct investment through policies has become a key direction of relevant research.As a graduate student from Kazakhstan,I am also very concerned about this issue.For Russia,the policy optimization and promotion of attracting foreign direct investment will obviously boost the economic development of Russia.By studying the current situation of the policy of attracting foreign direct investment in Russia,elaborating the effect of relevant policies of attracting foreign direct investment in Russia and analyzing the development characteristics of these phenomena,we can have a clearer understanding of the possible future trend of the policy of utilizing foreign direct investment in Russia,which is not only helpful to promote the economic development of Russia.And Russia’s medium-and long-term economic development strategic planning has a strong realistic value.In this thesis,the relevant policies of attracting foreign direct investment in Russia are studied.(1)The research background and significance are put forward,and the domestic and foreign research literature of foreign direct investment is summarized.Then the main research content of this thesis is determined.(2)It analyzes the current situation of Russia’s policy to attract foreign direct investment,and evaluates the effectiveness of relevant policies to attract foreign investment.The study found that attracting foreign direct investment is an effective measure to directly improve the production efficiency and employment rate of a region.Thanks to foreign investment by enterprises,modernization can proceed quickly and always have the best impact on production efficiency and efficiency by focusing on intensive rather than extensive development paths.(3)Combined with the current global background and the sanctions environment of western countries against Russia,this Thesis puts forward specific suggestions on the policy-making direction of attracting foreign investment in Russia.this Thesis mainly expounds the necessity for Russia to further maximize the trust of foreign investors,and puts forward some feasible measures.It includes increasing the transparency of the government-business relationship system,reducing government corruption,increasing the transparency of the tax system and improving the unfriendly supervision of investors’ rights.In the context of Western sanctions against Russia,measures taken by the Russian government to support foreign direct investment from friendly countries will help to stabilize the economic situation and prosper Russia’s economic environment in the future.There are 24 figures,19 tables and 83 references in this thesis.
