| Under the background of contemporary economy and society, enterprise is not an independent exist, but an important part of the society. The rights and expectations of stakeholders constitute the real demand of corporate social responsibility.Through the implementation of the social responsibility, enterprise makes its business activities and behavior in accordance with the reasonable expectations and requirements of stakeholders.As a special composition of enterprise, banking industry should inevitably assume social responsibility. From the 20th century, the research of corporate social responsibility in China is just in the beginning stage. So far, the research of commercial banks’social responsibility has just started. A further study of social responsibility of commercial bank is of important significance not only to the development of Chinese commercial banks, but also to the safeguard of social stability and the creation of harmonious society. ICBC is the premier bank in China, so the fulfillment of its CSR has a profound impact on social stability and protection of building a harmonious society of social responsibility. Therefore, regarding my own experience and the situation of targeting enterprise, this paper chooses industrial and commercial bank of China as the research target.This paper uses case study as the main method. First, based on the stakeholder theory, the paper summaries the dimensions and evaluation indexes which come from other papers. Then this paper uses AHP and questionnaire to decide the weight of each index. This index system contains 6 dimensions which are stakeholder, employee, customer, government, environment and community and 15 indexes. Finally, through the data analysis of the nearest 3 years financial reports and other nationalized banks’ financial reports and CSR reports, this paper finds the main disadvantages of the ICBC social responsibility fulfillment, and provides related improvement suggestions to solve the disadvantages. |
