Small and medium sized enterprises(SMEs) are the important components of China’s national economy, playing its important roles in providing jobs, promoting the technological innovation, developing international trades and boosting the economic growth. However, the unsolved financing problems seriously impede the stable development of SMEs. How to help the SMEs to solve the financing problems and boost its continuous, fast and stable development have been the hot spot by the academic circle and the practice circle. The financing business is based on the credits between economic entities, and guaranteed by information. The unbalance of information between the financial bodies and SMEs is the most prominent cause leading to the financing difficulties for SMEs meanwhile, the lack of credits and credit management of SMEs is gradually becoming the serious obstacle for the financing and development of enterprises. Thus, researching the credit information management of SMEs and scientifically and reasonably improving the strategies applicable to the credit information of SMEs has important theoretical and realistic significance for improving the credit environment of SMEs, increasing the credit of the whole society and solving the conflicts between SMEs and financial bodies represented by the bank.This paper defined the theoretical and realistic significance of credit information management upon SMEs, financial bodies and socioeconomic development. Next, its roles in the decision-making at early stage, the reviewing at middle stage and the management at later stage of financing business were discussed. Firstly, by analyzing the contents of credit information management, the access channels, the rating and the controlling methods for dishonest behaviors, the existing problems in the management at current stage were summarized. Secondly, combined with the case of Alibaba which employed the Internet finance as its carrier, the inherent advantages and limits of thecase model were discussed. At last, on the base of summarizing the existing problems,the management models of Alibaba case were taken for reference so as to propose strategies for improving the management in terms of developing the good credit awareness of the SMEs, developing the dynamic information-updating mechanism,perfecting the sharing of credit information, improving the influence of credit information of third party and taking advantages of big data with the helps from Internet finance.
