Since the 2008 global financial crisis, the financial situation of the international and domestic all have varying degrees of changes, especially banking regulatory environment, regulatory authorities capital regulation of commercial Banks become more service. Commercial bank credit expansion has always been regarded as the main business of the structure of the profit model will no longer apply. At the same time, the advancement of marketization of interest rate, financial disintermediation, the rapid development of capital markets, as well as the improvement of the diversification of customer needs, which are existing problems in the commercial bank profit model, commercial Banks face the inevitable trend of profit model transformation. This article, based on the related data of 16 listed commercial Banks, at first, the related theory of capital constraints, profit model are discussed systematically; And then, some chart analysis has been done about the listed commercial banks’capital adequacy and profit model. Then based on the 16 listed commercial Banks in seven years of sample data empirical research has been done. Finally, based on the analysis, it is concluded that the strengthen capital constraint has a promoting effect on listed commercial Banks profit model transformation. At the same time, some suggestions are put forward, which is our country’s listed commercial bank should set up light assets, low risk business development model; Different types of listed commercial Banks in the process of profit model transformation priorities should be different; The internal of listed commercial bank should pay attention to reform the management system of the enterprise business.
