The washing service of China has 7 billion Yuan revenue in 2013.50% of the revenue is from family washing service and the left 50% is from public washing service. There are about 1 million employees in this industry in China. There are more the 100 famous companies in washing service industry in China now. With the development of Internet and e-commerce, especially with the promotion of the O2O business model that was introduced in 2010, the family washing service meets a great chance. The key to O2O is that it finds consumers online and brings them into real-world stores. It is a combination of payment model and foot traffic generator for merchants (as well as a "discovery" mechanism for consumers) that creates offline purchases.This thesis applies the O2O business model to family washing services and provides a new family washing service e-commerce platform and a new business model and tries to build a high end user oriented family washing service.This thesis firstly gives a review of O2O concept and history. Secondly, the thesis gives an analysis of family washing service market in China and 3 case studies of O2O business model in family service area in China; then we analysis the status the family washing service in China now. Thirdly, the thesis provides a new family washing service e-commerce platform and a new business model based the characteristics the family washing service. This model provides on premise family washing service by the coordination with property companies and logistics companies. The property companies collect the clothes from the families and deliver the washed clothes back to families. The logistics companies deliver the clothes from the property to the washing factory and back. We use the e-commerce platform to integrate the end users, the property companies, the logistics companies and the washing factory. The e-commerce platform also monitors the whole operation status of the washing service and gives the feedback. Lastly, the thesis analyses the marketing position of this business model, the structure of company that operates this model. It also provides the beginning process with the collaborations of the property companies, the logistics companies. The marketing methods to the property companies and the end users are introduced. And the building and operating of the washing factory are summarized.We hope to build a high end user oriented family washing service e-commerce business and provide high quality service for Chinese citizens through this research.
