Personal finance business refers to the customers establishing proper personal financial plans as per financial status and making capital participation as appropriate. Investment of personal finance include:public debt, deposit, financial products available in bank, fund, trust and other new investment products. Different from pure deposit or investment, modern personal finance includes wealth accumulation, and further wealth security and arrangement. The core of wealth security is management and control of risk, i.e. the owner and family will not be subjected severe influence when major adverse changes, such as hyperinflation, sharp reduction of exchange rate and so on, occur to own economic situation. In fact, the size of personal finance grows in duplication with development of capital market in China. It is not only initiated in commercial banks, the trust companies, fund trust companies, securities companies, asset management companies are also designing and issuing products. Besides, the selling of products are beyond commercial banks with trust companies, securities companies, fund companies, asset management companies, third party financing companies having financing products sold too.China CITIC Bank has also been aware of the importance of personal financing in retail business for operation of commercial banks. From the angle of a CITIC operator of personal finance, the paper investigates typical domestic commercial banks and some commercial banks otherwise than Mainland (mainly Hong Kong and America) in aspect of personal finance products and business, focuses on a contrastive analysis of the business picture of financial products and business in Chinese commercial banks.Part 3 of the paper makes a selective analysis of the actuality of CITIC financial products and business, while part 4 compares the collected benefit quotation and sales data of many products in other Chinese commercial banks. The end of the paper analyzes design of future CITIC finance products and initiation of finance business, and proposes a development thinking idea.
