The competitiveness of rice in Heilongjiang Province as the main object of study, rice production and sales data as a breakthrough in the face of the challenges of Heilongjiang rice other rice producing provinces in China and Pakistan, Thailand and Vietnam, while imported rice are encountered depth research.First, competition theory, brand theory, core competence theory and market share, profitability and cost profit production value of three competitive measure indicators as the theoretical basis of this paper and competitiveness measure tool to scholars in recent years, Related research literature rice competitiveness as a reference to the concepts and theories related to this article connotation summarized and defined.Secondly, based on the Heilongjiang rice sells domestic market, to China and Heilongjiang provinces and the general situation of rice production in Heilongjiang rice marketing, brand, production costs, quality, the status quo in the face of competition of imported rice will be elaborated, and the use of market share rate, cost profit production value profit margins and three indicators for the competitiveness of rice in Heilongjiang was calculated, eventually found in Heilongjiang rice competitiveness declining trend. Third, the measurement results combined with Heilongjiang rice competitive situation and the competitiveness of the three indexes summarize the factors affecting the competitiveness of Heilongjiang rice are mainly five areas: the rice industry chain is short, brands are many and complex, low price of imported rice diverted Heilongjiang rice market share, marketing channels and high-quality rice imperfections less rice.Finally, combined with the domestic market competitiveness of rice in Heilongjiang, the reason that causes the competitiveness fall are given, and some measures are put forward to extend the industrial chain, to integrate the rice brand, and to improve the rice quality of rice and so on.
