Research On The Value Evaluation Of IT Executives

Senior manager of IT corporation is considered as the core of human capital. More importantly, it contributes to the competitive advantages shaping and core competence power enhancement. It is found that valuation on senior manager of IT corporation has not been emphasized and deeply researched by theoretical and practical circles. Besides, the traditional models of valuation indicate that they have obvious limitation. Therefore, it has both theoretical and realistic meaning to establish a practical valuation model on senior manager of IT corporation. Thus, the value can be measured scientifically and the motivation of senior manager can be inspired as well.This dissertation will construct a practical model of senior manager of IT corporation valuation so as to make some contributions to the scientific assessment and development of human capital. The necessary step is to take into account the value of senior managers as a regular element in business valuation. This dissertation will start with analyzing the results of relevant researches from three aspects of perspectives: the definition of senior manager, the value of senior manager and valuation of senior manager. In addition, the dissertation will contrast different valuation models, finding drawbacks of them. In order to construct a new practical model, the dissertation will seek for the key elements which have influence on the value of senior manager through empirical researches and other scholars’ results. The options and scenario analysis is applied, which contains options analysis and scenario analysis. The former mainly focuses on measuring the intrinsic value of IT senior manager which means the theoretic maximum value. Meanwhile the scenario analysis which put theoretic circumstances into reality can solve the problem of uncertain senior manager value. Additionally, it lists future scenarios of senior manager. The real value of senior manager under particular circumstances can be estimated with the help of evaluation criteria of situation description. It can be said that the options and scenario analysis is efficient and scientific when evaluating the value of senior manager of IT corporation according with future as accurate as possible.
