A Study On The Development Of B & B Format - Taiwan 's Experience And Its Reference

With the great popularity of ecological tourism and rural tourism, the development of B&B industry is becoming an inevitable trade. The experience on B&B industry in Taiwan provides a good reference for China mainland. In the past thirty years, B&B industry made great contributions for Taiwan in many career. It provides not only lodging facilities for tourists,but also becoming a special tourism attraction. What’s more important, B&B industry play an important role in rural development of Taiwan.At the other hand, there is a good foundation for China to develop B&B industry.But it’s still in its early stage by now. We got lots of problems that restricting the healthy development of the industry.So the purpose of the study is to help our B&B industry to improve. First, We chose Taiwan’s B&B industry as object, analyzed its development and evolution deeply through reviewing the history and current situation. Then we found out the reasons of its rapidly growth. Through comparing the basic conditions between China mainland and Taiwan,we finally found the disparities between these two areas. At last, we access several inspirations which can be used into improving our B&B industry.
