An Analysis Of International Competitiveness Of Chinese Fishery

Chinese fishery is strong in the world. Fishery is important in Chinese economy. It plays an indispensable role in the economy, employment and food security. Under the context of globalization, the fishery is also faced with the challenge of international competition. Japan and Korea are important trade partners of China in fishery trade. Learning the international fishery competitiveness of China, Japan and Korea is helpful for the cooperation of the three countries and cultivating Chinese fishery stainable development.This paper analyzed the current developmehery competitiveness and realize sunt of fisheries of China, Japan and Korea. With the Index of Revealed Comparative Advantage, Export Similarity Index and product price and quality advantages model, this paper analyse the competitiveness of aquatic products of the three country. Compared with Japan and South Korea, Chinese fishery resources are rich. It has a comparative advantage. The export similarity of aquatic products of the three countries is low.Japanese aquatic products have quality advantage, while aquatic products of China and South Korea have price advantage. Then based on the "Diamond Model" competitive advantage theory, this paper analized the international competitiveness of Japanese and Korean fishery industry. Finally, from the subjective aspect and objective aspect, with the Analytic Hierarchy Process and Entropy Method, this paper analyzed the influencing factors on Chinese aquaculture development, and put forward some effective ways to e n h a n c e t h e i n t e r n a t i o n a l c o m p e t i t i v e n e s s o f C h i n e s e fishery and promote the trade of aquatic trade between China, Japan and Korea.
