Tourism has a high sensitivity, high relevance and high dependence characteristics, vulnerable to the impact and influence of various external events, thus lead to the change current of apparent ups and downs, and their level of development affected the environment in the political, economic and cultural aspects, the profound changes in the external environment influence the development of tourism.Therefore the analysis of event tourism is particularly important,which can help us to capitalize on the aftermath of a major event has occurred, predict the future trend of tourism development at the same time, to better promote the development of tourism.Fenghuang County located in the southwestern Xiangxi, Hunan province, the geographical position is superior, the climate is suitable, and tourism resources is very rich, Phoenix Town and other attractions is more famous in the world. Fenghuang County is the Miao and Tujia ethnic enclaves, national culture distant long, tourism is the local pillar industries. How to use the positive impact of mega-event, weak the negative impact of the of mega-event, achieving scientific planning and orderly use, promote the vigorous development of regional tourism industry; How to properly handle crises, eliminate the negative effects of subsequent events, Play a major event effectively driving effect, achieve the interaction and win-win tourism and major events is we have been facing and problem needed to be solved.In this paper, with the development of the tourism industry in Fenghuang County as an example, mainly in the tourism background trend line theory as the research angle of view,to explore the mechanism of major event in the development of tourism industry in Fenghuang County, in order to have a reference for the stable development of Fenghuang County Tourism sustainable. The full text is divided into five parts: first, introduction. First of all, starting from the background of the topic, expounds the significance of this research, then defines the related concepts, theoretical basis and then listing of this study, and finally points out the technical route, the article research methods and possible innovation; second, the domestic and foreign related literature, carries on the discussion to the related theory study of the influence of impact of event tourism and mega events on tourism industry, then points out the deficiencies of current research; Third, analysis of the mechanism of the development of mega-event on tourism industry. First analysis on the impact of crisis event on the tourism industry process, and then expatiates the mechanism of crisis event on the tourism industry and carding crisis events in fenghuang county;Fourth, Fenghuang county tourism industry of empirical study based on the theory of the background trend line. First, make a long-term trend line using statistical data; use interpolated method to revised data of tourism without considering the influence of large events. Then, try to model fitting of the revised data, in order to obtain the model of background trend line equation of tourist number and tourism income in Fenghuang county; Fifth, countermeasures of Fenghuang County tourism industry development under the opportunity of mega-event.
