Research On The Construction And Development Of New Countryside In Linghai City

China’s construction of the new socialist countryside is of vital importance to the construction of a comprehensive well-off society and modernization, the advancing industrialization and the process of urbanization. Moreover, it has great significance both practically and historically to the achieving of all-round, coordinate and sustainable socioeconomic development.Based on a great deal of literature, experts interviews and on-the-spot investigations, the thesis studies and analyzes Linghai’s construction of the new socialist countryside. It first begins with the construction of the new countryside and the overview of relevant theories and then makes analysis of Linghai’s current situation of the construction of the new countryside. Finally, the experience and defects in the construction process are concerned and some corresponding policies and suggestions are put forward.A micro-empirical research with Linghai’s construction of the new socialist countryside as an example is conducted in the thesis. Even if the description and research content is not universal enough, it is a true reflection of the improvement of the new countryside’s construction according to the current situation. First, an intensive survey and study is carried out on increasing peasants’ income, promoting the construction of parks and infrastructure, improving the environment, reinforcing system construction, increasing funding, etc. Then, a detailed analysis is made on current situation of Linghai’s construction of new countryside to find out key problems in this process. Finally, a series of improvement measures and relevant policy proposals is put forward. Hopefully, it can be beneficial to not only Linghai but also other regions in the process of the new countryside construction.
