A Comparative Study Of Sino - British Service Trade

With the deepening constantly development of economic globalization, people gradually realize that service trade has tremendous potential for development. Countries are exploring ways to promote the rapid development of service trade. China, despite being a merchandise trade giant, is still one of the service trade underserved states. How to improve the level of China’s service trade has become a problem urgently to be solved. Service trade is the leading industry for Britain’s economy which has maintained a good development situation in Britain for several years. So Britain can become the suitable country which we can study from and collaborate with.Firstly, this paper studies the comparison of service trade’s development level, international competitiveness and major industries between China and Britain. Secondly, it empirically analyzes the influencing factors of China and Britain’s competitiveness of service trade. Thirdly, it finds out the characteristics of China and Britain’s service trade and the factors to improving their international competitiveness. Finally, it puts forward reasonable proposal for improving the international competitiveness of China’s service trade and promoting the cooperation between China and Britain’s service trade.
